Brief Description This is a high level moorland walk which has the advantage of generally good paths and tracks which follow a number of the reservoir feeder channels that afford easy level walking. From the car park, we follow the Pennine Way south, climbing steadily over Blackstone Edge to reach the M62; but, instead of crossing the motorway, we turn east and pick up the feeder channels which we follow to Green Withens Reservoir, before climbing towards Flint Hill to reach Rishworth Drain which we then follow in a northerly direction back to the A58 Halifax Road. We cross this road and have a short section of road walking along the Mytholmroyd road before, again, taking a track along the feeder channel to White Holme Reservoir to finish over Byron Edge via Todd Lane path.
