| Brief Description | From Jacksons Brick Works CP, we walk to the canal and cross at this point. We then follow a trail, through woodland, alongside the brook to the railway, which we cross over and continue alongside until we go underneath the rail, which leads to Elmerhurst Cottage in Lyme Park. There are styles (safe and solid) and muddy tracks in part in this area, use of poles recommended. We return on good tracks and field paths to Nelson's Pit, then by the Middlewood Way to the start. |
